Is there one ticket that covers admission to all of the gardens?
That’s a great question! We do not currently have a single admission ticket to all the gardens. Check under the “Gardens” tab to find contact phone numbers and website links for individual garden ticket information.
Can I buy a ticket to one of the gardens on this website?
No, as Discover SC Gardens does not directly handle ticket sales.
My favorite garden isn’t listed on this site—why not?
Oh, we’re sorry to hear that! There are so many wonderful gardens in South Carolina. But we do have seven great gardens to visit and are growing all the time. Please keep checking back to see if your favorite garden is added to our site or contact your favorite garden and encourage them to become a part of Discover SC Gardens.
Are all the gardens open to the public year-round?
The gardens are open year-round but there are certain dates when they are closed. It’s always a good idea to double-check via their website or call to confirm the days and hours of operation as well as numerous special events happening at each location.

Are the gardens handicap-accessible to people with mobility issues?
Because some of these gardens were working plantation homes, they cannot all be considered 100% handicap-accessible. Please contact individual gardens to confirm.
Are pets allowed in the gardens?
The pet policy varies among the gardens. For example, some allow pets in the gardens but not inside buildings. Please contact the individual garden if you have questions. Service animals with proper credentials are allowed.
